Shout out.
I'm curious as to who is reading my blog. If you are reading it, please drop me an email via the links on this page. I'm just kind of curious since I never see any comments or anything.
I've finished my Peace Corps service and am now attempting life back in the States. As always, everything here is my own thoughts and don't reflect those of the Peace Corps or anyone else, blah blah blah. You get the idea.

I read your blog. with a great dealof interest. My son Seth is with your group. Your homesick blog could have been written by him. His biggest problem, besides the heat, is the boredom and not having a sense of accpmplishment at the end of the day. But youguys seem to forget that you are actually very busy adapting, learnign a new culture, or at least trying to understand it, learning a new language, living under incredible circumstances. Just look back over the past three months and see how much you have accomplished. All I can say is WOW.

I'm reading it!
Glad you like the harmonica.
Will go out looking for more goodies.

hey -
I found your site a while back when your mom posted a comment on my site (http://onerevolution.net). We've been talking back and forth about PC stuff (I'll be heading to The Gambia this July). She's been a great resource!
I, too, am from the Burlington, VT area (Williston, specifically), and went to UVM (graduated 2001). Small world, huh?
I can't say I envy you with the 113 degree heat, man, my thick northeastern blood would boil I think. I sure hope things improve!
take care, and good luck -
Matt
./fails the internet.
I can't find these "email links" of which you speak.
I read this blog though!

Hi Seabass, this is Su in North Yorkshire, England, where we are seeing the sun almost for the first time this year.
Your heat is unimaginable, though the homesickness very imaginable. At least you write well about it!
Interested in your comments about Avian Flu - which is actually very hard to catch! England just had a major media event because one dead swan in Scotland was found to have died of it - but it is not a native bird, and might have died anywhere and been washed in by the sea. Panic over.
Looking forward to your next posting, and hope the weather breaks soon.
Hey Sebastian,
I am reading your blog. My girl friend is in the Peace Corps in Senegal. I enjoy reading Volunteers blogs and get a better feeling to what she is going through. Her Blog is megan.peacecorpblogs.com. Keep up the posting!!!
Hi Seabass,
Sent you an email but got your "away" message. Hope you get some of the packages soon.
Love,
Mom
I've been reading it!!
